LC3 Week 6

Reading and Bridges

Who would of thought reading could be so much fun! Some of LC3 read a book about 'The Impossible Bridge' and they then created their own. The test was to see whether a car could cross it. Aiden and Cheston loved sharing their design and success!

PINS
Our students are still loving their PINS Workshops and at the moment we are making the most of our Japanese Students and the skills they bring. Here are a few shots!

LC3 WEEK 4

WEEK 4 FUN

GEOMETRY

This week for Maths we have begun to explore the wonderful world of Geometry. We have been naming, sorting and drawing 2D and 3D shapes. We are learning about symmetry and finding the number of edges and vertices in shapes.

Te Reo
During our Te Reo classes we are beginning to learn our Pepeha. We are learning to introduce ourselves, say how old we are and where we are from.

Literacy

In reading we have been learning how to find information in the story and use this to create a character response such as a Wanted Poster.

CREATIVITY
We are beginning to create a cool mural for our creativity project 'Where the Wild Things Are.'
We have made some awesome monster masks out of paper.

Our showcase for Where the Wild Tings are is in full flight. Here is the drama and dance group working on their acting and dance sequences.
